CHILDRENS (7-11)/TEENS (12-16)
This weekly yoga class is designed to manage strong emotions and to develop physical and emotional strength through the medium of yoga and meditation.
Classes run for 40-60 minutes during each school term.
Limit of 10 students per class.
Childrens: Tuesdays & Wednesdays Aged 7-11, 3.40pm (40mins)
Teens: Tuesdays & Wednesdays Aged 12-16, 4.45pm (60mins)
$120.00 term (8 classes in total)
Term One: Feb 14th-April 8th 2022

ALIGN & BREATH
This is a beginner core class. It introduces a slow form of yoga sequences aligned with organic breathing. The postures in this class balance out both strength and flexibility, with the routine involving standing poses, forward bends, back strengtheners, twists, hip and shoulder openers, inversions, arm balances and meditation.
Classes run for 55 minutes.
Limit of 10 per class.

SENIOR
This class is specifically tailored to build strength, balance, flexibility and confidence. This slow paced class explores balance postures, supported strength poses and long deep stretching to enhance joint mobility and flexbility.
Classes run for 55 minutes.
Limit of 10 per class.

All About Me: Rachel
Yoga has been a part of my life for fourteen years and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live my life more mindfully and with a sense of peace.
I have a bachelor of Physical Education from Otago University majoring in exercise prescription and management where I have taught in the fitness industry for over 25 years. I'm a certified yoga instructor having completed my 200hr Yoga Teaching Training with Santosha Yoga in Bali. I have also completed teacher training in pre/post natal and children/teens yoga.
I love applying my knowledge of anatomy, physiology and functional movement to my yoga learning and teaching. My classes are infused with informative movement inquiries, yoga asanas, creative sequencing, stretching, and meditation that will leave you feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.
